Cultural Park Service, Hospitality
1,000 sq ft
In honor of the ancient Native American peoples who inhabited the region centuries ago, a stone ‘kiva’ structure has been built to service a popular local park in the heart of the Grand Circle. The stone walls, quarried locally and stacked as built centuries ago, houses public restrooms and a serving kitchen for park events and gatherings. The structure, nestled among the cottonwoods, is a modern reminder of an ancient culture long past.
